Brainstorming meetings often draw moans and groans as those involved rack their brains for new solutions to old problems. Even with the phrase “there are no wrong answers“, brainstorming success is often limited.
What to do?
Question the problem. Identify what is wrong, why it doesn’t work, why customers don’t get it, why the data doesn’t add up, etc. By asking questions and exploring why “it” is broken, the new solutions may quietly present themselves!
Questions are the seeds of solutions. Your own brain may just need a question to noodle the problem.
