I will be very happy to wake up later in the week and not hear political campaign commercials on my television, radio or Pandora. I don’t know about you, but I feel this election has been very dirty. It is never okay in my book to make another look bad just to win a vote.
This rule of thumb goes the same for the way you run your business. Companies who allow their staff members or sales associates to downplay another company’s values or quality of work have no values themselves. Competition is good for the small business owner. It keeps you on your toes, makes you learn new and better techniques and possibly could cause you to open your business up to areas you never even thought of.
The best way to win over a customer is by developing trust, showing your integrity and delivering a higher class of service. As my grandmother use to say “you catch more flies with honey”.
